Busy

I got a lot done today. It always helps when I write a list of things to do the night before, because I feel more duty bound to that scrap of paper lying in my purse. Haha. I went to work and tied everything up there, so I no longer work for Med-Co, which makes me sad because I loved the place and the people. I took my car to get the wiper fixed, found out how much I owe on it and looked into selling the thing. I looove my little red jelly bean. I'm going to miss it, but I'm excited to get a new car.

I'm feeling crappy today. It's not fun being a girl at times. The weather seems to reflect my mood, as it's windy and rainy outside. My dog peed on the carpet four times tonight, and the trash bag broke all over the floor when I pulled it out. I had a big mess to clean up, that's for sure. On a lighter note, I made some awesome tuna steaks with mango salsa tonight, plus I baked a cherry cheesecake for my dad and brother afterwards. Theraputic. Not eating any of the latter, though, this gluten free business plus working out every day has helped me drop 4lbs in a week. Woo!

I have to research sea freight shipping prices tomorrow, so that I can send my DVDs, CDs and other random decorative things across ahead of me. Matt's been busy getting the office ready for the business launch on March 2nd. I'm sad I probably won't be there, but I'm working on getting my stuff taken care of. Plus, doing the homework and learning a whole new market takes time, and I have that right now!

I started re-reading one of my favourite books of all time last night, Dracula, by Bram Stoker. If you've never read it, do it. It's a classic and it'll suck you in to the fabulous fantasy of Transylvania and the world of the Count. Next on the list is Crime and Punishment by Dostoyevsky; what can I say? Post-Twilight marathon, I needed something challenging! Haha. Plus, being in my old room with my old books is fun. I love reading.

Matt and I decided on the date (we hope!) of our wedding/renewal; June 17, 2010. It'll be our four and a half year wedding anniversary. I've already been looking at dresses and venues tonight, and I'm soooo excited!! I'm finally getting to have the wedding that I've always dreamed of, with all of my friends and family present. We're going with something very us. There'll be bright colours, an outdoor ceremony, a big reception with live music at a fabulous venue and lots of little surprises thrown in for good measure. As excited as I am, though, I'm not going to really get going on things until around September, as I have two weddings to attend before then, (one of them being my bridesmaid, and dear friend, Tammy's), plus one of another member of my wedding party (whose husband and close friend of mine, Chris, is an usher) is about to give birth to a baby boy! It's all hectic.
